Dr. Joann Alfonzo

Dr. Joann Alfonzo is a board certified pediatrician who has been with Pedimedica since July 2008. Dr. Alfonzo received her MD from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and completed her pediatric residency training at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. After three years in private practice into he Philadelphia area, she returned to her native New Jersey where she worked at Hackensack University Medical Center in the Ambulatory Pediatrics Division for 11 years. Dr. Alfonzo practices part-time in the Teaneck office of Pedimedica. She has a special interest in caring for children with development disabilities. She is a member and fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She and her husband are the proud parents of two rambunctious sons.
