Dr. Neil Kolsky
After graduating from New Jersey College of Medicine, he completed both his Pediatric Internship and Residency at the John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He served in the US Army Medical Corps, achieving the rank of Major. Upon completion of his military obligation, he joined Pedimedica, first practicing in the Fort Lee office, and then opening the Teaneck office, where he has been ever since. His primary medical interest is general pediatrics, which he continues to
practice on a daily basis. Special interests in pediatrics have always been neonatology and infectious diseases. He was the Director of Pediatrics at the Holy Name Hospital in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. Neil is part of an annual medical brigade that travels to the rural villages of Honduras to deliver care to a very underserved and needy population.
Neil lives in Bergen County with his wife Beverly, who is a practicing psychoanalyst in Englewood. He is the proud grandfather of Emma, Olivia, and Ezra. Hobbies include skiing, fishing, photography, and golfing.
He has been selected annually by the Castle Connolly Guide, ever since its inception, as one of the Top Pediatricians in the New York Metropolitan area. In 2001, he was also honored by the New York Magazine and The New Jersey Monthly as a “Top Doctor.” A similar honor was bestowed upon him in 2002 by The Ladies Home Journal.
